Choose which moves each monster brings into battle.
Pick a team of 3 monsters and choose 4 moves for each. Then battle the AI's team — last team standing wins.
Every move has a Power value. Higher power means more base damage. Type matchups and a small random factor (±15%) are applied on top.
Every move also has a Speed value. Both sides choose their move at the same time — whichever move has the higher speed goes first that turn. If speeds are tied, order is random.
Move type vs. defender type determines a damage multiplier:
| Move type ↓ / Defender → | Fire | Water | Grass |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fire | 1× | 0.5× | 2× |
| Water | 2× | 1× | 0.5× |
| Grass | 0.5× | 2× | 1× |
| Normal | 1× | 1× | 1× |
During your turn you can press Switch instead of choosing a move. Switching counts as your action for that turn — the opponent gets a free attack on your incoming monster before you act again. Use it strategically to bring in a type advantage.

Pair a fast move to go first and a high-power move for when you can afford to be slow. Matching your move type to your opponent's weakness is often the difference between a win and a loss.
